Dave Canales’ coaching adventure started as a young boy, drawing plays in the schoolyard with his friends. Those experiences led him on a coaching journey from high school to an assistant coach on the staff of the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. Dave frequently invests his off-the-field time sharing his experiences regarding culture and leadership to organizations worldwide. When Dave is not coaching or consulting, you will find him having coffee with his wife Lizzy, fishing and playing with his four children, or giving the occasional haircut to anyone in need. This Marriage is Dave’s first book and displays his life of powerful authenticity.

Lizzy Canales' is a fiercely loyal friend, truth-teller, and silver linings expert. A mother of four, she spends her days cooking healthy meals, finding adventures to keep things fun, managing relationship dynamics, and being a sounding board for her husband’s dreams—while still finding a way to throw around heavy weights or go for a run. A self-proclaimed recovering sorrow avoider, she discovered the magnificent, transformative love of Christ amidst her deepest pain. Through the process of writing her first book, she has discovered her passion for storytelling as a way to help other people feel like they are not alone in facing their losses, opening the door to a life where they can truly thrive.
